Adrian Amezcua Correa is Director of Technical Sales Support for Telecom Business at Prysmian Group. He received a B.S in Telecommunications Engineering from the National University of Mexico and holds a PhD in Optical Fibers from the Optoelectronics Research Centre at the University of Southampton. has more than 20 years’ experience in the field of optical fibers and optoelectronics. He holds various patents in optical fibers and more than 50 publications. In 2008, he joined Prysmian Group R&D group where he worked on the development of novel optical fibers for telecom and specialty applications. Then he moved to the USA where he was a Product Manager for the Americas. He participates in different international optical fiber committees like EuropaCable, IEEE, TIA, and FTTH Council.
